We’ll conduct a thorough examination to create a treatment plan that’s right for you

Dr. Groves has mastered a wide variety of techniques, allowing him to tailor his methods to what is most appropriate for your age and condition. Manual and instrument-based techniques are available so that even if you’re in pain, we can provide you with light-force, noninvasive adjustments.

Specializing in the Impulse Technique

Dr. Groves specializes in Impulse(R) instrument-based adjustments. A patented, FDA-approved instrument allows us to give you precise adjustments that are extremely gentle. This advanced method is backed up by research that demonstrates its effectiveness.

This technique allows us to control the amount of force used, so we can utilize the Impulse(R) even on tender areas. The Impulse(R) adjuster is appropriate for all ages and conditions. You can learn more about the Impulse Technique by watching the Impulse Patient Orientation Video, or by reading more about it here.

We use an adjusting style commonly referred to as “Diversified.” First, an analysis of your spine is performed. This can initially involve a case history and X-ray pictures of your spine.

Subsequent visits may include motion palpation, with the chiropractor feeling the spinal joints move as you turn and bend. Or, a leg check may be performed, to uncover an imbalance in the neck or lower spine. read more>>

We use one of the most popular “low force” chiropractic techniques in the world. The Activator Methods(R) Adjusting Instrument is a handheld spring-loaded tool that delivers a consistent low-force, high-speed thrust.

Because it’s many times faster than adjustments delivered by hand, the body rarely tightens to resist, making adjustments comfortable and effective. It’s also helpful for adjusting elbows, wrists, knees and other joints of the body. read more>>

Named after its developer, Dr. Clarence Gonstead, this approach came from his engineering background. His “foundation principle” explains how a subluxation pattern in one area of the spine can produce compensatory changes in another. read more>>

The Thompson Drop Table technique uses a specific type of table to assist the adjustment. There are padded segments of the adjusting table that can be raised to support a specific area of the body. The result is a very smooth adjustment that can be successfully applied to children, the elderly and very large or muscular patients. read more>>
